The Saturn Curve concept from the 2004 North American
International Auto Show was a car far different to the
sensible family and budget cars usually associated with
the American marque.
Designed in Sweden, constructed by Pininfarina of Italy,
and built on GM's Kappa platform, as used by the Pontiac
Solstice, the Curve has sports car roots, and a sports
car body for that matter.
Strong, pronounced wheel arches, a high waist line, and
a low roof characterised by 360° of glass beneath
make for an original and attractive shape which also looks
quite realistic, should the car ever be made.
The interior of the Saturn Curve concept continues the
sporty theme with an open gate short throw shifter and
white faced analog dials aimed directly at the driver.
