The Peugeot Touch concept is a design created independently
from Peugeot by Enache Florin.
The underlying theme of the Peugeot Touch, as the name
suggests is the unusual access and control systems which
are all opened or activated by the simple touch of the
hand.
Positioned near the front of the doors is the touch panel
for access to the vehicle. This panel features finger
recognition to ensure that only the owner or other pre-approved
drivers can enter or start the vehicle.
One of the other more unusual features of the Peugeot
Touch is the pattern of the LED lighting system which
gives the car a very distinctive appearance at night.
One of the designers ideas was that this original and
stylish lighting system could become a trademark theme
on all future Peugeot models.
Styling wise the Peugeot Touch is composed of relatively
simple shapes and sleek, attractive proportions. The roof
of the car sits at 1.2 metres high, while the wheelbase
comes in at 2.5 metres. Sitting under the taught wheelarches
are a set of 21" wheels with an asymmetric spoke
design.
The Peugeot Touch concept is merely a styling exercise
and there is absolutely zero chance of the car ever making
production.
