The Lincoln L2K was a proposal for a stylish, luxury convertible
which was unveiled at the 1995 Chicago Auto Show.
The L2K was developed for Lincoln by a styling firm which
was appropriately named the Concept Car Company.
Mounted up front was a 250 horsepower, 3.4 litre V8 engine
which sent its power to the rear wheels through a four-speed
automatic transmission.
In the end Lincoln decided not to put the L2K into production.
Which is a shame because as far as mid-nineties American
convertibles go it was a well proportioned and good looking
vehicle - especially from the rear 3/4 angle.
