The Lexus LF SS concept is a creation of Jin Hee Kim.
The LF SS concept is based on the Lexus GS wheelbase, however
the two cars differ greatly in their styling, drivetrain
and packaging. The LF SS concept was designed specifically
for drivers aged 30-40 in the year 2010.
The exterior styling of the Lexus LF SS, which was partly
influenced by Buddhist sculpture, has been designed to
appear like a single component. The short front overhang
and long rear overhang have the effect of creating a sense
of forward momentum, while also helping to disguise the
front-mid engine layout.
Powering the Lexus LF SS concept is a hybrid drivetrain
which consists of a V8 engine backed up by a dye-sensitized
solar cell and electric motor.
Features of the Lexus LF SS:
- LED headlights
- Rear facing camera replaces rear view mirror
- 10 spoke jet engine inspired wheels
