The HCD8 concept supercar was the first vehicle to be
designed at Hyundai's new Design and Technical Center
located in Irvine, California.
The most striking design feature of the HCD8 are it's
slit-like LED headlights which frame a gaping mouth grille,
this design is mirrored to the rear of the concept with
the shape of the tail lights and license plate surround.
The HCD8's overall flowing lines are not ground breaking,
but they are pleasant. The bulk of the body sits toward
the rear with a bulbous, rounded one piece rear panel.
The interior of the concept is finished with two-tone
gray leather seats, these are highlighted by wood flooring
and wood and aluminum accented steering wheel rim and
shift lever knob.
The HCD8 is powered by a supercharged
2.7-liter V6 engine running through a 6-speed manual transmission.
