The Dodge Power Wagon concept shown at the 1999 North
American International Auto Show demonstrates how far
pickups have come since the last Power Wagons were sold
in 1946. The Power Wagon concept is built on the existing
Dodge Ram platform, and although the Power Wagon itself
is bigger and taller, the cab is actually smaller - similar
in size to a Dodge Dakota pickup cab.
The retro styling of the Power Wagon concept does justice
to the trucks powerful 7.2 litre turbodiesel engine. And
with muscular flared arches, purposeful grille and lateral
air vents on the front wings the concept has a tough and
aggressive stance.
