Daewoo Joyster

Daewoo Joyster

Make Daewoo
Model Joyster
Concept year 1997
Production year -
Engine 1.5 litre 4 cylinder

The unfortunatley named Daewoo Joyster was an attractive little roadster concept designed by at team at IAD (International Automotive Design) based in England.

The two-seat Joyster had well balanced proportions and nicely sculpted lines. The three spoke alloy wheels haven't aged as well as the overall body shape. The bizzare grille at the front featured dozens of random holes of differing sizes - thankfully this styling cue has not appeared on many vehicles since.

Powering the Daewoo Joyster was a small displacement 4 cylinder engine which put its power onto the road through the front wheels.
